Rooms are compact, but neatly furnished with comfortable amenities, including internet, self controlled air conditioning, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, tea & coffee etc. The hotel offers a restaurant on the ground floor, as well as a bar with an entrance on George Street. The hotel building also encompasses a bar, tobacco shop and money exchange centre, each with their own entrance from George Street. There is a small car park underneath the hotel, however space is limited and subject to availability and charge on arrival. The lobby is small and charming. It displays memorabilia to highlight the history of the hotel, including framed photographs, letters and hotel bills dating back to 1936, old fashion telephones and original architectural features. Adjacent to the reception area is a lockable private bathroom with shower and fresh towels for early arrivals or late departures. There are also full size lockers available for luggage storage, internet kiosks and a business centre. This is a charming, well run budget property in a fantastic location.
