The hotel was renovated in the year 2000 and consists of 3-storeys with a total of 22 rooms, of which 2 are singles, 19 are doubles and 1 is a junior suite. The air-conditioned building is equipped with a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a lift, a currency exchange desk and a cloakroom. Guests are also offered medical assistance and bicycle hire. Those arriving by car may make use of the hotel car park.
Location
This hotel is located in Lido, directly next to the coast and surrounded by plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and public transport connections. The beach is just 600 m away and the tourist centre, St. Marks, and a nightclub are located 1 km away. Marco Polo airport is also not far from the hotel.
How To Get There
By train: after alighting at Santa Lucia (Venice main station), guests have a choice of lines. The best is boat line #51, which goes direct to Lido in 35 minutes and ends at Lido pier, a few steps from the hotel. Alternatively, guests can take boat line #1 (very slow, stops everywhere along the Grand Canal until its last stop at Lido, 1-hour ride) or line #82 (a little faster, only seasonal, stopping merely at important stations along the Grand Canal, 40-minute ride). By car: from all directions, follow the blue signs to Venezia or to Piazzale Roma (P. Roma). Before the city, after driving over the Ponte della Libertà (Liberty Bridge) with train tracks at the left and water on both sides, is the one and only traffic light with directions to Tronchetto and the ferry boat service to Lido. Turn right and follow signs to board the ferry. Departures are every 50 minutes, with a 35-minute ride through the Lagune to Lido Island. After alighting from the ferry, look to the right to see a dome with its cupola along the water side. The hotel is opposite the ESSO gas station, soon after this.
