I have just spent two nights at the paragon. I booked a single room which was surprisingly small but comfortable. The hotel breakfast is a running buffet and is very poor quality overcooked bacon,sausage and scrambled egg that looked like it was made in a polystyrene factory. Coffee was bitter and croissants that looked like they had lost the will to exist. Skipped breakfast the second day although it was included in the price. Staff were freindly in a shrill "anything from the mini bar Sir!" sort of way. A bonus was a free Irish Times at the reception. Overall,the hotel is clean,reasonably priced and a handy location. Allow a fiver for a taxi into the heart of the town to restaurants,pubs,shops,etc.
