Located on 4 hectares of secluded tropical white sandy beaches, surrounded by palm trees. Tikehau is an almost circular atoll with an interior lagoon 26km (16 miles) across and a pass for small boats through the coral reef. Jacques Cousteau's research group made a study of the Polynesian atolls in 1987 - Tikehau lagoon was thought to contain the most fish. The atoll has 382 residents. Tikehau is a 55 minute flight from Tahiti.Restaurant
Poreho Restaurant and Terrace opens onto the lagoon and serves European and Polynesian cuisine. The Tianoa Bar, located between the white sand beach and the freshwater pool and the lagoon, provides a romantic background for cocktails.Rooms
