The one bedroom lakeview suites have fantastic uninterupted views of this stunning lake and mountain backdrop. Spacious and in very good condition as the resort has opened in January 2008. Floor to ceiling windows with sliding doors to a small balcony. Light coloured carpets, drapes and walls all increase the feeling of a light filled and spacious room. The lounge area is open plan and includes the kitchen and dining areas. the dining table seats four and the kitchen is fully equipped for dining. The lounge area has a music system as well as LCD flat screen tv. A Comfortable sofa and coffee table completes the living area. The suites have large bathrooms with separate bath tub and shower and double sink units. The restaurant is open for breakfast lunch and dinner, with an adjoining lounge offer snacks throughout the day. Both the restaurant and the lounge have amazing views over lake Tekapo and the mountains surrounding. A modern alpine style property. Made up of a series of two storey wood finished buildings. The reception and restaurant is in the main building, with the accommodation spread out over the resort. A small functional lobby. A great new property in the Mount cook region. Excellent views towards Lake Tekapo. Great for a one night stop while touring the south island, or a longer stay to take advantage of the stunning scenery and the large range of activities in the area. Activities depend on the time of year, in summer mountain biking, gliding, horse riding, fishing and hiking and during the winter, skiing, ice skating and curling. Throughout the year some of the best star gazing in the world is available from the nearby Mount John observatory, and for those very lucky people the chance to see the Southern Lights. SE1108
