My usband and I just return from our 3 nights stay at The Grand Majestic Plaza Hotel in Prague. It's a brand new hotel, with a great service, great location, great breakfast, great rooms, great bed and pillows, great room ameneties and size.I t's walking distance from most important sites. Free internet in the room with your own laptop or at the lobby, having two computers for free use. The staff was quite nice, helping us with all our needs. Clean, modern, defenatly a great choice for this beautiful city.
The Majestic Plaza Hotel Prague is good value, clean with very helpful staff. It is centrally located near Wenceslas Square within walking distance of many tourist attractions. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of food and dinner was good value and good quality. I suggest you book as the dining room can be full. Also good restaurants in same street for dinner The hotel room had a good tv with 20 channels -4 English speaking. It had a mini bar , fridge and safe and we had a good nights sleep during our 4 day stay Hotel has internet access and a business center with free computer access for guests so it is possible to keep in touch with home with or without a laptop Reception Staff arranged taxi's and postage of cards and a final touch on the day we were leaving it was raining and a member of the hotel staff held an umbrella and carried my wife's luggage to the taxi. We hope to stay here again when we return to beautiful Prague. A very enjoyable holiday
Hotel itself was lovely and very central. However, staff were not very friendly and rooms were quite small. Whirlpool was mentioned on the website but this costs extra. Hotel is good value for cost. Would probably try a different hotel next time.
great hotel for the price and very close to the airport
We stayed at Step Hotel during the Easter holidays, and quite happy with it. Nice, friendly staff, clean rooms and a lot of facilities. Also good location (near the Metro and Trams) and also close to a highway. And not far from the city center. Can certainly recommend.
I stayed 2 nights at this excellent hotel on a short visit to Prague. The building is a large old building which has been very well converted into a hotel. The location is very handy if getting the bus & metro from the airport (Bus 100 from the airport to Zilcin Metro station and then a 20 minute metro ride to the Karlovo Namistry station which is very close to the hotel). Check in was very fast and everyone was able to speak english. I had a nice large room at the back of the hotel on the 1st floor. There was free Tea and Coffee making things in the room, and a good sized TV with plenty of channels. The room was nice and quiet at night with no noise coming in from outside. (This hotel has a older clientelle - luckily no sign of rowdy stag, hen or school parties). The windows looked out over a annex roof and then to some neighbouring buildings. Breakfast was excellent - fresh meats, rolls, and cheeses. Also a very friendly staff making sure everything was replenished. You can help yourself to coffee and fresh juices. At check in , they also give you some brochures about Prague and a handy city map. There is a small alcove in the reception area which acts as a little shop (for things like crisps and soft drinks and general supplies). This could be handy if its wet or late at night, though at other times there are plenty of shops and supermarkets near the hotel anyway. From the hotel its about a 15 minute walk to the centre of the old city. It’s a nice stroll going along the banks of the river and the area around the hotel seemed very safe and pleasant even later in the night. I would recommend this hotel for anyone going to Prague for a short break, or on business, and I hope to go back again myself another time.
Very nice stay, staff was very friendly. Room was lovely and clean
Good value hotel in the Centre of Prague, nice location, nice hotel. Thanks
In short a good value decent hotel in the centre of Prague. Hotel right in the centre of everything, Prague Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square etc. The Central Hotel Prague was just what we were looking for, on arrival receptionist had my booking but I didn’t have the print out so receptionist made me print it out (from the PC in lobby), not a problem as I should have had it I guess. Booked a triple room, all fine, no problems with room or booking. Check out was 12.00, didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment. Would return again without question. Thanks
I was not sure wheather via roomex was trustworthy at first. But after reservation I called 2 days later. Confirmation was made by the reception. The room was mwa mwa. Nothing special, but the rate through your booking agency was great!
