Very basic hotel, quite central but dated. The lifts were very small and the carpet was lifting off the lift floor, it was also dirty. You had to walk a good bit to get to your room from the lift. Rooms were small, very basic. The beds had clean sheets but had those old fashioned fluffy wool blankets, very bally!! Also no heat in room except an electric plug-in heater. Had a duvet in the wardrobe for extra warmth, which we needed. The duvet had to cover, while clean, it had many permanent stains. Bathroom was clean, small and towels were changed every day. Breakfast was basic and very busy. They ran out of cups, glasses and cutlery on a few occasions and we had to stand for 5 minutes to get a table. Staff didn't seem to be able to cope with the breakfast rush!! The only good thing about this hotel is the location.
