A very good 5 star hotel set in beautiful grounds. The B&B deal we got from Roomex was excellent value for money for such a top class hotel. Breakfast was very nice, although as my wife had pointed out, you would expect a 5 star hotel to provide a breakfast menu and serve you the breakfast. This hotel offered a buffet breakfast only, although a very good quality one. We ate in the Talavera Italian Restaurant (same location as breakfast) in the evening and it was good also. The bedroom was very comfortable. We booked a double, but had two twin beds pushed together. However we were warned about this when booking through Roomex and so knew what we could expect. It wasn't a major issue and if anything it made for a larger bed almost of queen size proportions! We didn't really use any of the other facilities the hotel had to offer apart from the bar. The bar and lounge area was my favourite part of the hotel. The bar resembles a huge conservatory. As a result it had plenty of light and character. The lounge beside it, had even more character with it's high ceilings, oversized fire places and classical furniture. You really could sit in it all night drinking. The only other thing we did was walk the grounds of the hotel after breakfast, which was very pleasant.
Overall a lovely hotel and recommended to everyone!
