I stayed at this hotel because it claims to be 2 minute walk from the terminal. And it lives up to this claim - it is so close to the airport, I would highly recommend it. This is especially good if you have a flight landing at Stansted late or you have to fly out of there early. I stayed there twice in the same week and the rooms are differently decorated depending on which floor you are on. On the first occasion, I asked reception how I should turn off the air con as the off switch for the fan didn't seem to work. She told me it had to be on at all times due to health and safety. However, on my second stay, the off switch worked and I could turn off the air con. I'm not sure what the receptionist was talking about - but I did notice the air in the bathroom does stay on regardless.
Checking out is very convenient - they have automatic checkout machines which are quicker than going to the desk. They also provide a grab and go service for breakfast if you are leaving too early to sit down for it. All in all, a great experience and higly recommended. As always, the Roomex booking offered a great deal with this hotel compared to other sites and it was easy to book on the site.
