The large lobby has recently been redecorated and is more up-to-the-minute with large paintings adorning the walls, large and welcoming black and red leather armchairs, a red banquette and a typically Dutch communal table with red and green velvet chairs offering ample seating space in a relaxed environment.Location
This hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam, a few steps from Central Station and close to the famous Kalverstraat, the pedestrianised shopping street. It is also close to all major tourist attractions including Anne Frank House, Dam Square and the exclusive Jordaan area.Restaurant
The restaurant is located on the ground floor and currently serves breakfast only. It is a large and bright room, but again, will be renovated in 2004Rooms
The bedrooms are all extremely modern and comfortable with the unique feature of having the sink in the bedroom behind an attractive partition. However, due to its rebranding to Ramada, it is due to be renovated in 2004 although it still offers very pleasant and comfortable accomodation.
