Hotel is modern and a bit souless- location is about 15 -20 mins drive from Galway and not the 10 mins stated on the website Room was of good standard- with good fittings and a balcony (for standing on- no chairs) The standard of the breakfast was very poor and let down our stay. Very limited choice of hot food, only white sliced bread (no wholewheat, soda bread, croissants etc) and the sausages were truly the worst I've ever tasted. Barely qualified as breakfast Overall wouldnt return in a hurry.

The Ramada Encore in Oranmore is very well situated in relation to the town's amenities. It was also relatively easy to find, and had very easy access to Galway city (10 minutes in a car). The room itself was well appointed. We had a lovely small balcony (great for the smokers!) and the amenities provided were more than adequate. The bar/restaurant area is very basic, however - there isn't much ambience (it's like an airport lounge). However, the breakfast was pretty good, and the menu looked well-stocked. All in all, a very good stay for a reasonable price.

We were very impressed with the ultra modern design of our room. Possibly the best we have encountered with a lovely walk in shower as part of the large en-suite. Staff were most friendly & customer-focus was top notch. We had evening meal on one night which was tasty & good value. Just one cause for complaint - the wi-fi was not working in the bedroom although it functioned all right in the foyer. We would definitely return here again if visiting Galway area.
