Location

The hotel is located right on the doorstep of Birmingham city centre. It is situated on level 7 of The Mailbox, which overlooks the canal and is home to various shops, restaurants and bars. It is less than a 10-minute walk from New Street Station, the Bull Ring and Broad Street. The International Convention Centre, National Indoor Arena and Birmingham Sea Life Centre are each about a 5-minute walk away. The Digbeth bus station is about 20 minutes from the hotel on foot. Guests can also reach the Cadbury World chocolate museum in around 15 minutes by car. Birmingham International Airport is approximately 25 km from the hotel.

How To Get There

The hotel is situated on level 7 of The Mailbox. By Car: From the M 6 (North and South), leave the M 6 at junction 6, and follow signs to the A 38/city centre. Travel under 2 tunnels: Great Charles Street and Queensway. Upon exiting the 2nd tunnel, move into the left lane. Look across the dual carriageway to see The Mailbox. Make a U-turn at the next available traffic island. From the M 5 (North and South), leave the M 5 at junction 3. At the roundabout, follow signs for Birmingham city centre. Take the A 456 (Hagley Road West) for approximately 3.2 km. The Mailbox is signposted from there.

Room Description

All bedrooms are en suite with power showers, broadband Internet access (fees may apply), iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, fans and a TV with over 20 free-view channels. Rooms also feature a hairdryer, double bed, direct dial telephone and radio. Central heating comes as standard. Cots and family rooms are also available. Please note that family rooms consist of two double beds.

Meals

A full-service restaurant offers a full English and Continental buffet breakfast and is also open for lunch and dinner, serving both set menu and buffet options (on selected weekends there is a limited menu). The bar is also open to residents and non-residents. It shows Sky Sports television channels and serves a light-bite menu of quick snacks.
