Red Roof Inn Woburn Hotel Boston - Ma

The Red Roof Inn at Woburn is comfortable and clean and the staff are friendly, and it's a very good price for the area. I'd certainly recommend it if you're on a budget. Just a word of advice if you are a tourist visiting Boston: the location is a little out of the way for the city. It's a 20-minute walk (or $10 cab ride) to Anderson/Woburn station for the local rail service - NB Mishawum station, although much closer, is currently closed for refurbishments. The train takes 25 minutes to Boston North Station. This is worth bearing in mind as the trains don't run very frequently outside of peak hours. Other than that, it's a decent place to stay if the city is too expensive.

This was a return visit to this hotel, having had an excellent stay the first time around. This hotel is so reasonably priced for a room that mirrors what we have paid top price for elsewhere. A large room, two double beds, large tv, lovely appointed bathroom but above all clean and in very good condition. Having spent the first night at the front of the hotel we asked to be moved to the back because of the traffic but we are particularly light sleepers who have no traffic noise at home. We were immediately accommodated and given our new key even though it was 7AM! The staff at all times were friendly, helpful and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The free coffee and tea machine and juice in the morning was always welcome and with a supermarket and several restaurants across the road there is no shortage of places eat to make up for the fact that there is no bar or restaurant on the premises. A plus to that is no night time bar noise in the room! Overall we cannot find much to fault them on! Well done!
