The rooms are bright and tastefully decorated in a simple but unique style, they are well equipped, and thanks to the double glass windows, they are very quite. They are quite big compared to a typical Parisian hotel room. The bathrooms are in good condition, light and very clean. Guests are provided with the Italian brand "Fragonard" bathroom products. The breakfast can be found on the ground floor. Although there is no daylight, the breakfast room is bright with confortable seatings. It is a typical 5 floor building. Entering the reception area, there is a small lounge on the left. The small library completes this traditional atmosphere of the hotel. This a traditional 3 star hotel, considered a superiour tourist class property. The hotel, with its perfect location, is very attractive. The friendly staff give a warm welcome. (0309IU)
Area Information
The hotel is closed to the Gare Lazare train station and only few minutes from the Place de Clichy metro station. The location is surrounded by restaurants, bars, discos, the famous Moulin Rouge is within walking distance. Other attractions like the Opera, the Madeleine, the Sacre Coeur, the Arc the Triumph and the Champs Elysees are all in the neighbourhood.

We went to Paris for a short getaway break and stayed in this hotel for several nights. The hotel was always tidy and well kept and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms were bigger than I had expected for Paris with the wc seperate from the bathroom. The dining area while in the basement was very pleasent and frindly with a relaxed atmosphere. The lift will just about fit two people and luggage, but the spiral stairs is large and we used this most of the time. The area is well served transport wise and the hotel is within ten minutes walking of the Moulin Rouge. There is also a multi-screen cinema 3 minutes away from which you can recover from culture-burn-out. We enjoyed our stay here and had a hassle trouble free stay.
