Renaissance Chancery Ct (Dlx) Hotel London

The hotel is more grand than grand, the staff very friendly and the breakfast at Pearl restaurant is to die for. The room was large an airy and though ours wasn't recently refurbished, it was clean and very comfortable and not at all tatty, just a bit outdated. Situated in Holbon the Hotel is fantastically located for Central London and at Roomex prices is a must to stay at.

I really enjoyed the hotel, room large. Breakfast excellent. Staff helpful and polite. Location was excellent. We would certainly consider this hotel again. Thanks to Mark in Roomex for all his help.

Beautiful hotel and the staff are just lovely. Close to the West End - we went to Dirty Dancing Friday Night - Covent Garden for Restaurants and Bars. Oxford Street and Covent Garden were very busy on Saturday so it was a God send to get back to the hotel where we could relax and enjoy tea and homemade biscuits (complimentary in the room) before getting ready to hit town again. We were a party of 4 ladies in 2 twin rooms B&B (2 double beds in each room). This turned into 5 as our friend decided last minute to fly in from Switzerland. The hotel had no issue with 3 of us in one of the rooms and we could just pay for the extra breakfast (£24.50 buffet). On checkin the lovely receptionist upgraded us to an executive room FOC that although still 2 double beds was much more spacious. Breakfast was very nice and relaxing - set us up for the day until dinner - and it was served until 12oc each morning - with friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful. We left at 12.30 on Sunday afternoon for the airport to catch our flight back to Dublin - got the tube (Picadilly line) direct from Holborn Station just around the corner from the hotel to Heathrow Terminal 1, another big plus as no need for taxis or changing trains. We didn't have the time to use the SPA but hopefully will return next year and fit it in to our plans.
