Location

The hotel is located in the historical heart of Assisi, just a few metres from St. Clare's square. From this ancient medieval complex, guests can enjoy a superb panoramic view: on the left, the wonderful façade of the Basilica of St. Clare, on the right the evocative view of St. Maria Maggiore, to the back the dome of Chiesa Nuova and St. Rufino Cathedral with the imposing Rocca Maggiore at the top and, to the front, the green Umbrian valley surrounded by soft rolling hills. The bus station is around 700 from the hotel and Santa Maria degli Angeli railway station is about 5 km away. San Egidio Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 20 km, whilst Ancona Airport and Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport are some 144 km and 207 km away, respectively.

How To Get There

From the E-45 motorway: Take the exit Assisi S. Maria degli Angeli and drive in the direction of Assisi. On the left from the main road, on a big round corner, the Porta Moiano car park can be found, the nearest to the historical residence (less than 100 m). However, on arrival, instead of parking there, guests can drive into the historical centre through Porta Nova specifying that they are driving to this historical residence. At St. Clare's square, drive across Via S. Agnese, which goes down on the left from the square. 50 m away, the hotel welcomes guests with its big wooden entrance door and a wonderful shrine dating back to the XIV century.

Room Description

The suites have the names and features of the natural elements of the Canticle of the Creatures: Sister Moon and Stars, Mother Earth and Brother Sun are decorated with ancient elegant furniture, precious curtains and carpets. At the same time they have all the modern facilities with satellite TV, a telephone, safe, minibar and kitchenette. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower and hairdryer and the bedrooms with king-size beds. A radio, Internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, individually regulated heating and a balcony or terrace also come as standard.
