The style is perhaps what one would expect of a large, state-owned Soviet Bloc hotel, with plain colours and simple decor. The restaurant can be found on the 1st floor; it is light and airy, offering a range of local and International cuisine. This huge and impressive granite building, coloured light brown is iconic in Riga's history and a landmark hotel property in the old town. The lobby is large and is a split-level area. It has a grand feel, as the ceilings are high and its quite spectacular. The reception desk is to the right of the hotels entrance.. This is a hotel with a perfect location in the heart of Riga. Although it is not the most luxurious hotel, the location itself is worth staying here.
