Location

The charming eco hotel is located 100 km north of San José, between the provinces of Guanacaste and Alajuela. This bungalow complex lies between the towns of Fortuna and Upala, approximately 25 km from Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano. Rio Celeste, Tenorio National Park is just 100 m from the hotel and Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia, Guanacaste is around 72 km away.

How To Get There

Leaving Juan Santamaria International Airport, take General Cañas Pan American highway for the city of Guatuso, passing through Naranjo, then Zarcero and the city of Ciudad Quesada. In Ciudad Quesada head towards La Fortuna and, after Los Angeles, the local airport in La Fortuna, and the Arenal Volcano area, turn right to the city of Guatuso. Once there after crossing the bridge over the Rio Frio river, go straight ahead and turn left into the first road after 200 metres, which is unpaved. Continue on this for 30 minutes to the city of Rio Celeste. Continue straight towards the mountain and arrive at the destination after 4 km.

Room Description

The rooms feature king-size or two double queen-size beds, outfitted with luxury lines and a cloud top mattress as well as a private backyard with an outdoor shower and wide glass doors facing the private front balcony. Each room is equipped with premium amenities, such as a hot tub, plasma-screen satellite TV, a DVD/CD player, iPod docking station, Internet access, an in-room safe suitable for laptops and air conditioning. Each room additionally features a private bathroom with a shower, bathtub, hairdryer and hot water, a fully-stocked minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and a direct dial telephone. Two rooms suitable for disabled guests are available.

Meals

A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning and set menu and à la carte options are available for lunch and dinner.
