The rooms are large and well-equipped. Bathrooms are also large and clean, having both bath and shower. All rooms are in good condition, many with an excellent view across the sea. There is a Japanese restaurant as well as second restaurant serving international cuisine. This is one of the most recognisable hotels in the Middle East looking proudly out across the bay. The reception area is large and attractive in design. Two large lifts are available. A Japanese restaurant adjoins the ground floor.There is a number of sofas in the centre ensuring a comfortable check in. This is a famous hotel of an international 5 star standard although cannot be compared with the best 5 star properties in town. The outdoor swimming pool is extremely popular in Summer. This is a pleasant, welcoming hotel which is keen to take great care of its guests. ME 04/09

This hotel is superbly located on the corniche, facing the Mediterranean Sea, and a 10 minute drive from downtown Beirut and close to the Hamra area and business district.
