Roomy's Christmas Riddle
Roomy wants to leave you with something to ponder over Christmas.
3 Roomex Customers check out of a hotel in the morning and the total cost is €30, so they each pay €10 and head back up to their room to collect their bags. The receptionist meanwhile decides that because Roomex Customers are so nice, she will give them back €5. She calls the bell-boy over and asks him to follow them up to their room to give them the money. The bell-boy, on the way up, decides he will just give them back €3 and keep €2 for himself. The 3 customers duly receive €1 each from the bell-boy, meaning that their room has now cost them only €9 each.
Now here's the riddle, 3 times €9 gives €27 plus the bell-boy's €2 makes €29 - where did the other €1 get to ??
