I was particularly impressed with the quietness of my room - always, in other hotels in the centre of Dublin, I have found that my room was noisy (Dublin is now another world city that never sleeps!). I asked the receptionist for a room that, above all, was quiet and, if possible, was a smoking room. I found both my requests admirably furnished. I checked in at 11.15 am and had no problem getting immediate allocation of my room.
I am 68 years of age and throughout my life have believed that a hotel can often be judged on the standard of breakfast. I was impressed with the meal and the overall price I paid was most acceptable.
