The building has elegant, some with access to a huge terrace and all are beautifully decorated in white and pastels, with bright bathrooms. The rooms and bathrooms are in good condition and offer a belle epoque style and a welcoming atmosphere. There are two restaurants; the one used for breakfast is large, with high ceilings and is imposing and there is also an elegant 'a la carte' restaurant with a bar. The main building has a traditional old style facade, with the modern section of the hotel hidden around the side and at the back. The reception area is very spacious and traditional in style, with numerous lounge and reading areas, including a pretty enclosed verandah and an imposing staircase leading to the first floor. This hotel is fairly central, only a few minutes walk from the main shopping area. The rear of the hotel overlooks the river and the front faces the famous Jungfrau peak.
