I chose this hotel as I required overnight accommodation as I arrived in Heathrow at approx. 19:45 on a Saturday evening and had a 6:50am flight from Gatwick on Sunday morning. I based my choice from a list of options based on price, proximity to Gatwick and a regular shuttle bus service to and from the airport. I required nothing fancy - just a nice room, a clean bed and the usual en-suite bathroom/shower to freshen up.
Unfortunately I was very disappointed. When I arrived all I wanted was to go straight to my room. What I found was nothing like the images on your website. My room (No. 12) was very small (6ft x 8ft approx). The bed took up the full depth of the room along one side wall. The space to the dressing table was little over 1 metre. The en-suite was tiny, with a very tight squeeze to the sink. A notice said to run the hot tap for some minutes to get hot water. Most disappointing and annoying of all was the shower. The was not very clean, it did not turn on the water, it came off the fitting easily, to reveal a rusty fitting and even when secured with toilet paper (only material available) all that resulted was a trickle of water from the fitting and nothing from the showerhead. To my great disappointment I could not have a shower either on arrival or on the following morning. I reported the shower problem to the night porter on checkout. I got no apology or anything, he just said he would report it.
Breakfast was included in the price but a I was leaving at 05:00 in the morning, this was not of any interest to me. Maybe I would have been surprised by this but I wonder!
Any saving graces - not many. It is relatively cheap but so are others in the area. The room was reasonably clean but nothing exceptional. Overall a big disappointment and there is no excuse for something so basic as a shower that just doesn't work.

A little dated, but clean and comfortable, and good value for money. My single room had a strange window, that at first I took to be a false window, as all I could see out of it was a landscape print. It was only when emerging from the bathroom, after taking a shower, that I realised that the landscape print, was actually on the wall of the corridor opposite my window, and that the window let out onto the corridor, which both myself, and the Japenese lady passing, as I energed from the shower, felt was very strange.
