We really had a lovely stay in the Russell Hotel in London. The staff were very friendly and helpfull, the room comfortable, clean, and modern, and the food was excellent. We upgraded at a small fee when we checked in, however, the room as to the front of the hotel overlooking the park, it had a lovely view but was a little too noisy for a leisure break!! There was an older lovely gentleman working there, as a concierge, and he actauly remembered us from last year, which makes a nice personal touch. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, as it was very central.
