First room very poor, got changed to another one, a lot better. Menu has not been changed in three years, the food needs a major overhaul. Too much chips and burgers, what about proper healthy food!!!.

We booked 4 internal rooms in this hotel, which meant there were no windows in the rooms. This normally would have been OK but there was NO air conditioning in the rooms and as a result they were boiling hot. On complaining to a female member of staff she informed us that we had booked economy rooms!! implying what else did we expect.
Surely being able to breathe and sleep properly should not cost extra! Several other guests also complained. We were there for 2 nights - no effort was made to address the situation - reception staff said they would inform the manager - that was the last we heard of it!
Apart from this the hotel is in a good location and, while it is in serious need of refurbishment, the rooms were clean

There was a problem regulating the heat in the room so the room was very very warm which made it difficult to sleep. These things happen so I would stay here again - it's cheap and cheerful.

we enjoyed our stay in this hotel. we were in Manchester for a concert and needed something pretty central. it took a while to find the hotel but as soon as we did we realised that it was very central, and it was only awkward to find because we werent familiar with the city.
the reception was big and spacious, with two efficient staff on the counter. the lifts were not working as they are currently updating them, but the service lift was available for use.
the room was small, and unusual in the fact that there was no windows in the room, but we were fully aware of that at time of booking. the sink was blocked when we got to the room but before we could even open our suitcase there was someone there to fix it.
the bar staff were excellant and personally the best part of the hotel. very welcoming and accomadating.
overall a very enjoyable experiance, and would definatly recommend this hotel to anyone. if your looking for a cheap hotel with all the charm of a 4-5 star hotel, chose sachas. we are already planning our return trip to Manchester!!!
