Renovated in 2000, this air-conditioned hotel occupies a 500 year-old town palace and includes 40 rooms (28 in the main building and 12 in the annex, the new part of the hotel) spread over parts of the building. The neighbouring building is only 100 m from the historical main building (a porter service is offered free of charge). The inviting lobby offers guests a 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange desk and 40 hotel safes in the 4-storey main building. In addition, there is an American style bar, 2 lifts and a café for hotel guests. Furthermore, there is a public Internet terminal, a breakfast and 2 conference rooms available within the impressive hotel. Location

This hotel is situated opposite the Grand Canal on the Piazzale Roma. It is the only hotel in Venice that is able to offer its own private car park. In front of the building lies a bus stop and a taxi stand, meaning that guests enjoy easy access to the airport. The train station is only 5 minutes away, whilst waterborne transport departs from a stop right next to the hotel. Restaurants, bars and shops are within 5 minutes of the hotel. The nearest beach (the Lido) is approximately 3 km away.

Room Description

Decorated in a Venetian style, the rooms feature an en suite bathroom with a shower, bath and a hairdryer. In addition, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a minibar, a double bed and carpeting all feature in the stylish rooms. Individually regulated air conditioning and heating as well as a hire safe round off the fittings. The rooms in the neighbouring building are more spacious meaning that up to 4 people can be accommodated here and they offer access to wheelchair users.
