This rooftop penthouse hotel is located above central car park number 3 at Düsseldorf International Airport. It is just a 1-minute walk from the airport terminal and the suburban train (S-Bahn) station on line 7 offers convenient access by public transport to the nearby exhibition centre (3 km) and the city centre (6 km). The airport's Skytrain monorail service takes passengers every 5 minutes to the airport's mainline station, from where all IC/ICE trains depart.
How To Get There
By car: travelling on the motorway from any direction, follow the signposts for the airport. Head towards Arrivals or Departures and park in car park 3 (entrance on the left). By suburban train (S-Bahn): take the suburban rail link line S7 from Düsseldorf Central Station. Alight at the airport terminal: Flughafen Terminal (end of the line). The exit is located in front of the hotel entrance. From the mainline airport rail station, take the Skytrain to Terminal B and follow signs to the hotel. The hotel is located opposite the terminal. By plane: head to Terminal B Arrivals. Take any exit and follow the signs to the hotel. The hotel is located opposite the terminal in car park 3.
Room Description
The hotel's rooms were newly renovated in 2008 and feature warm, soothing colours such as terracotta and sand as well as beech wood furniture and fine fabrics. All rooms are equipped with Sheraton Sweet Sleeper (SM) double or king-size beds. Flight arrival and departure information can be viewed on the TV in guests' room. The spacious bathroom features an elegant bathtub/shower unit, decorated with luxurious black granite. The rooms include thoughtful extras such as a hairdryer and a vanity mirror as well as a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a radio, Internet access, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, a safe and an ironing set. The rooms are also equipped with individually regulated air conditioning and heating, providing everything needed for a thoroughly pleasant stay.
Meals
The hotel features 2 restaurants serving a breakfast buffet and guests may enjoy their lunch and dinner in buffet form or from a set or à la carte menu. Seasonal Mediterranean cuisine is served at the Brasserie restaurant or hearty, regional Bavarian cuisine at the Tölzer Stube restaurant.

A modern gym fitted with all the latest equipment is available 24 hours a day. A solarium and massage treatments are also available at the airport.

Great location, easy to find, very friendly staff. I would highly recommend to everyone
Having not stayed here for nearly ten years, it was very pleasing to see the considerable improvements. The check-in team were very courteous and helpful and the room was well up to Sheraton standards. The only negative was a very unpleasant looking (large) stain on the carpet. The buffet breakfast offered all that one could want, although the cooked food was not as hot as I would have liked.
This hotel was the Arrabella Sheraton and is now the Sheraton. The whole place looks as though it has recently been refurbished and was extremely clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One point: although I asked for and booked a double room were were told that they don't really do a double room as such. (But we were moved to a room where two singles had been pushed together). We were catching a flight the next morning and the airport is so close (literally a walk across the car park) that it is ideal for someone trying to get an early flight. For those heading to Dusseldorf city -- taxis are pricey enough but catching a train into the city centre is very easy to do! Over all it was a lovely stay
