Although I had booked and paid to stay at the Sidney Hotel in Victoria for 1 night,we where unable to as they had overbooked! /had builders in! and our room was unavailable so we had to spend the night at the Day's Inn Hotel down the street. We were back at the Sidney Hotel next morning for breakfast which was adequate. A plus was that we where able to leave our luggage securely at the Sidney all day at no charge.

This was my second time to stay in the Sidney Hotel. I stayed there this time last year and was so pleased with it that I stayed again this year. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the breakfast lovely and all the staff are very courteous and helpful. Its location is ideal for sightseeing and it is just about five minutes walk from Victoria Station. I would be happy to stay there again.

We use the Hotel when we are visiting the Chelsea flower show. the location is excellent, within walking distance of Victoria Train Station and the show grounds. The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable, breakfast bar is terrific and a constsnt offering of tea or coffee is a delight. the bar in the reception is a nice treat after a days walking around London. all staff are friendly and helpful

After Reading some reviews on tripadvisor I was a little worried about staying here! But, I thought the hotel was good value for money. The room was a small single room and there was not a lot of space but the room was clean and tidy with a nice, very small ensuite bathroom. The shower was very tight, I must admit. The bed was comfy and unfortunatley I did not have the chance to sample the breakfasts as I was away by 7.30am each morning. I thought that this was a reasonable room for a reasonable price in London - I could have done a lot worse!

Staff helpful, nice relaxed atmosphere. Good first impression, very welcoming. Very convenient for Victoria rail, tube and coach stations; about a ten minute walk. I stayed two nights, either end of a trip to France. Very clean, however single rooms very cosy. Ensuite in first room I stayed in was only slightly bigger than my shower cubicle at home! No built in air conditioning which was uncomfortable due to the heat in London, at the time.Ceiling fan and shelf mounted fans employed in rooms respectively. Overall, fine for short stay and breakfast good!

If you're looking for a clean comfortable bed, friendly service and value for money, the Sidney Hotel has it all. We stayed just one night for the Chelsea Flower Show and it's ideally located for that. The staff at reception gave us directions and marked out a map for us. The hotel is literally only 10 minutes walk from Victoria Station and there is a bus-stop outside the hotel as well. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast lovely. It's a great location for sight-seeing around London and would definitely stay there again.

Single room too small and claustrophic. Requested to be changed to bigger room but they were unable to do this. I didn't sleep in room but joined my work colleague in her double room which at least was much more comfortable. They said they could not refund me any money which wasn't good customer service.
