Sir Thomas Hotel Liverpool

Nice hotel.

perfect for lads heading over for weekend, very close to everything, staff are very helpful. Rooms are a good size and the breakfast is nice. Always stay here when i go to matches and im always happy to go back. good price aswell.

I stayed in the Sir Thomas for 3 nights mid week in Sept 08 on holiday. I found the hotel was excellantly located for Lime st, bus stops & for shopping. The hotel has no additional facilities. Breakfast is taken in the bar. An all day menu is served also. There is a dress code for the bar. The room was fine with tea/coffee making facilities etc. The only thing I found strange was the curtains did not meet ie. they did not close. I like a dark room for sleeping but I did not query was it only in my room or throughout the hotel. It was my first time in Liverpool and I was amazed that this hotel was so reasonable being so near the city centre.

Room was small and basic but clean. The hotel itself is located a minutes walk from great shops and restaurants. A short taxi journey will take you to Albert Dock, Chinatown and Anfield! The service in the hotel was very mixed. One morning breakfast was served by a friendly lady who couldn't be helpful enough and the following morning it took ages to attract the attention of an indifferent waiter and after a lengthly wait we finally managed to get some toast but gave up on the tea. Service at reception also ranged from one extreme to the other. If I return to Liverpool I will try another hotel. At the Sir Thomas its location location location and thats about it.

Hotel was an excellent Boutique Hotel right in the heart of |Liverpool. Staff warm and friendly, who went out of their way to please in a boudoir style hotel. Great food and excellent bar facilities with everything needed for a great time. A little on the pricey side but it is in the heart of all great things in Liverpool.Central to the shopping center of Liverpool, around the corner form "The Cavern", no need to waste time when travelling when in the heart of the action.
