Room was small and basic but clean. The hotel itself is located a minutes walk from great shops and restaurants. A short taxi journey will take you to Albert dock, Chinatown and Anfield! The service in the hotel was very mixed. One morning breakfast was served by a friendly lady who couldn't be helpful enough and the following morning it took ages to attract the attention of an indifferent waiter and after a lengthly wait we finally managed to get some toast but gave up on the tea. Service at reception also ranged from one extreme to the other. If I return to Liverpool I will try another hotel. At the Sir Thomas its location location location and thats about it.
