we were a family of 3 staying in Radisson for 1 week. Highly recommend the hotel. We will definitely look at staying here again when we return to Malta. Room was comfortable, spacious and clean, and despite 2 weddings being held in hotel we heard no noise at all. Weddings do not interfere in any way with other guests. plenty of sun chairs around both pools and plenty of staff on site at all times to assist in any way. car parking was easy to find and complimentary breakfast is great with buffet serving everything you could want from cooked breakfast to fruit/cold meats/cereals etc etc. This is the last hotel on seafront at paceville/st julians so for someone who wants night clubs/late bars on doorstep this hotel might not suit but a pleasant walk into Paceville in the evening will take you to the main restaurant/bar area.
This is more 4 than 5 star but lovely nonetheless. The lobby is nice, relatively luxurious and open and the receptionist quite friendly. We were given a room straight away (at 1.30pm) on the 4th floor. It was moderate in size, everything clean and functional altho the bathroom could use an update. The balcony only had cheap plastic furniture which weren't the cleanest but we just used the leather chairs from the room to sit outside. The view, while it was only a side view of the sea was still pretty good and the waves could be heard crashing against the rocks from the bed. Drinking in the hotel is expensive unless you avail of the half off all drinks from 8-10 every evening in the bridge bar. The 24 hour restaurant is full service, with good quality yet inexpensive food. The breakfast buffet which was included was adequate, but nothing special. The outdoor pools looked lovely but it was too cold to try them out. The indoor pool was ok but I didn't like that you have to walk thru the gym from the changing room to get to the pool. The location is both good and bad! Good as the proximity to the sea and the view is amazing but it's also a little far from other restaurants, bars etc. It took about 15 mins to walk to spinola bay where there are a lot of lovely restaurants. Over all, a decent hotel and if u got it at a good price ( I got it for €53 for 2 ppl per night including breakfast) then definately go for it!
I had really a good time. In first time at reception gave me the room that was already occupied but they changed. The other room was smaller and the air conditioner was very loud, but I'm not care about this. The room was clean and the breakfast was also good.
Regency Hotel smells so bad! There's old and dirty moquette everywhere! Despite being located in a superb position, in front of the sea coast, it's not worthy to book a room in this hotel because of the bad smell.
30/05.2011 we have just returned from our stay at the meridian hotel st julians Malta. we would highly recommend this hotel; the staff were excellent.we would especially like to commend the concierge he was wonderful in helping with all our enquiries.hotel very clean hotel well situated with a bus stop 2min away.we would definitely stay here again
Staff are wonderful, location is excellent, we were in a standard room and it was fine. I thought it was all a little expensive for what it was.

The Hotel is located in a lovely historic building, unfortunately the internal layout has been changed so that the rooms have as little charme as an Etap hotel by the motorway. In our room the big, arched window was cut in half by the floor (so the window started at floor level and went up to under a meter). Apart from that the rooms are clean and not luxurious but sufficient. The biggest let down was the staff: on several occasions we found their tone rude (e.g. when being asked for the room number at breakfast). When we arrived the key card for our door did not work. Instead of coming to see for themslves with an alternative key they person at the reception made us go back and forth between our 3rd floor room and reception several times before he could be bothered to come and see for himself. He then opened the door for us but the problem was not fixed and he claimed that the manager was the only one who knew how to do it so we would have to wait for him to return. When he finally showed up after several hours he claimed that all the staff knew how to change the batteries on the locks but were just to lazy to do it themselves. We would have preferred it if the staff had worked out their internal issues amongst themselves. Overall, this incident did not leave us feeling welcomed and well looked after. To sum up: Not the worst hotel ever but not a pleasant experience you gladly pay for either.
Hotel was central. Clean. Room spacious but quite old fashioned. Staff were very friendly. breakfast was simple but adequate. Overall a clean, central hotel with basic facilities and friendly staff. I would stay again.
Stayed in Phoenicia Hotel on 16th December, the room was great, clean with great views. The hotel is in a great location to explore Valletta. Once again an unbeatable price on the room with Roomex - thanks,
Enjoyed our stay at the Phoenica. Very convenient location to city. Room was large with three balconies and kept spotless by room service. All staff very helpful. Wonderful breakfast.Would recommend this hotel as one of the best we have stayed in an would not hesitate in going back.
