Spar Majorna Hotel Gothenburg

The Hotel is ideally situated close to Tram Stop on Route's 9 and 11 from the Central Station. Not exactly City Centre but that was our choice. Room was very clean and tidy. Buffet Breakfast was very good with complementary Newspapers. Front Desk staff were very helpful and were never rushed when dealing with us. Check in was no problem. Domestic Staff were very pleasant. We will definetly stay there again.

I previously stayed here for a week, this trip was just for a weekend. Equally happy on both occasions. We had 2 basic en-suite twin rooms, clean and comfortable (good tv stations too). The breakfast was a buffet and should have enough selection to cater for most. The nearest tram stop is on the same street and you can get to the heart of Gothenburg within 15 minutes. I liked the location as we probably got to see more of the city then we would have done if we stayed at a more central location. I'd recommend it for weekend stays or longer holidays.
