Room was small but adequate. Would not be large enough for large man. Bathroom was not clean - stained shower tray, under sink filthy and wire connector covered with tape in full view.

The location of the St. Giles Hotel is great. It is literally minutes away from the Tottenham Court Road tube station which is great if you're seeing the sights. I stayed in a single room which was quite small but clean and comfortable with a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The only complaint would be that the bathroom was a bit too small, you could hardly turn around in it, but there was plenty of hot water. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice of both hot and cold dishes and all the staff were very friendly and helpful, from check in and out to holding your luggage for you. I thought it might be noisy at night due to its location and size (it seems very popular with coach parties as any time I passed the reception area another coach-load seemed to be checking in), but there were no problems at all. I would definitely stay here again as it's in such a good location but I think I'll book a double room the next time for a little more space!

Great location for Central London attractions and only 2 min walk to tube station. Rooms are tiny - but clean and have everything you need (ensuite, kettle, hairdryer). Allowed us to check in early at 11am and can leave bags at hotel if leaving late for a small fee. Breakfast is standard. Staff friendly. Far better than other London hotels I have stayed at which were less central, not clean and costing more. No conplaints.

A friend and I shared a twin room for a long weekend.
The room was adequately sized. I could see from the room map in the hotel that some rooms are very small but the one we stayed in was perfectly fine for the amount of time we planned sending there (quite little).
The toilet/shower room was clean and compact. It did steam up a lot and could have done with a better extractor system.
The beds were OK. Mine was a little more uncomfortable.
We needed to leave the window open (we stayed there in June and the weather was warm and humid) but I still slept well. My friend wasn't used to the city noises so expect to hear vehicles and sirens being so close to Tottenham Court Road.
Location of the hotel was excellent. Close to all the places we wanted to go and all within walking distance (if you don't Tube it all the time).
Breakfast was good. The fried food was what I liked and the selection of cereals was good. Would have liked muesli to be availabel though.
Altogether very satisfactory and I would stay again for 1-2 nights.
