We stayed at this hotel for a wedding the receptionist was very pleasant and the room was lovely breakfast was a bit hit and miss no teapots available so we were given watery tastless tea and a couple of other small little issues but overall really enjoyed our stay and would stay again

Stayed here on the 19th June 2011. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and plenty to choose from. Would definitely recommend and stay here again :)

Really enjoyed my/our time @ the Talbot. Reception/general hotel staff and bar staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely: Good size, very clean and cozy. Only aspect of my two nights there I didn't like as much as the rest was the restaurant. By the time we were seated, had a starter, main and dessert we had been in the restaurant for 35-40 minutes... hardly relaxing time. But other than that I/we really enjoyed our stay at the Talbot hotel

A group of us stayed in the hotel for just one night, we were instantly impressed with the standard of the rooms. All the aspects you would expect, it was clean and tidy. although we didnt have much dealings with them the staff were helpful and the food in the bar was good and seemed to be very family friendly judging by the amount of people with small children eating there. the taxi into town was around ten euro but there was no problem getting a taxi into and back out of town.

We recently stayed in the Talbot and had a lovely time. We had some bar food when we arrived and it was really lovely. The decor in the Bistro could be a little less haphazard. The rooms were well decorated and very clean, beds comfortable and room warm but not over hot! Didn't manage to make it for breakfast but my friends told me it was lovely and lots of everything.

The staff was wonderful, hotel was clean and roomy, great bar area. Sound proofing is not good for a new hotel, the band could be heard easily late into the night
