We really enjoyed our stay at the Talbot Hotel. Our room was a double room which consist of a large double bed and a single bed - the size of the room was very big, clean and had a contemporary style. As it was Valentines we decided to go out for dinner in Carlow town. When we arrived back we went to the bar for some drinks but it was too busy so we took our drinks to our room. The only negative thing about staying was the noise - where are room was, was just above the bar so the live music was pretty loud but that quietened down after 12. The breakfast the next morning was fantastic – huge amount on offer and as much as you wanted.
