Grindelwald is the gateway to Tamar Valley region, with over 40 boutique wineries within an hours drive of the resort, 50 minutes from Devonport ferry terminal. Lakes, river and mountains surround Grindelwald. 15 minute drive from Launceston. Tamar Valley also offers good restaurants, Colonial heritage and picturesque Tasmanian countryside. Magnificent Tasmanian wilderness is a leisurely drive away.
