Good location. Good breakfasts. Not so good staff. Reception staff were not very quick to help with directions, train times etc. Didn't seem to think it was part of their job to help tourists. The shower in our room had only two settings..... freezing cold or boiling hot.... we had to ask to be moved to another room, but had to move ourselves,no help was offered. The cleaner of our second room broke a saucer and failed to clean up all the pieces , leaving tiny shards all over the carpet outside the bathroom door and large pieces still lying in behind the bathroom door. Oh and she didn't replace the broken saucer either. After repeated complaints to the management they offered us complimentary dinner in the Seven Seas Restaurant on our last night. Dinner was actually very good and we finally met a manager who was very good at his job... the restaurant manager was excellent! Would we go back??? Probably not.

I was very impressed with the size of the room, beds were extremely comfortable, bathroom spacious also. The stafff were very friendly and the food was exceptional.I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling with children. There was only one thing that I would complain about, when we arrived to check in they required a credit card to pay a €50 deposit and refused to take cash,as I did not have a credit card with me they took my passport details after some discussion,so perhaps you could state that this is what is required when booking to avoid any confusion for future guests. All in all it was a most enjoyable stay, thank you.

Won't be staying here again. The hotel is right next to the train station and the noise of trains screeching throughout the night was hugely frustrating. To make matters worse, we couldn't close the window as there was no air-conditioning in the hotel, which was one of the hottest hotels I've ever stayed in. And the outside temperatures were not particularly high.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Liner Hotel, Liverpool. On arrival the staff were exteremly friendly and very approachable. Our room had everything we could possibly need for our weekend stay and if there was anything we needed the hotel staff did their best to acomodate us. All in all, we all agreed we would deffinalety revisit the liner hotel when we return to liverpool later this year.
