This hotel is situated just off Reykjavik's main shopping street Laugarvegur in a narrow side street. It is for the most part a peaceful location, but can be a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights.Restaurant

The rooms vary in size, but all but a few are large. Designed by a Los Angeles based Icelandic interior designer, Gulla Jónsdóttir, they are decorated with stylish state-of-the-art furniture and predominantly black and white colourschemes, though many of the rooms and notably the bathrooms have bare rendered walls. Some of the rooms on the top floor have characterful sloping ceilings and dormer windows. They are in exceptional conditions as are the funky modern bathrooms.
