Timhotel Montmartre Paris
Hotel Description
They are small in size but are in good condition. Rooms and bathrooms are simply equipped but they are functional, guests are welcomed in a pleasant decor furnished with bright colours. The breakfast room is a bit small in size and decorated in the same contemporary style as public areas. For lunch and dinner guests can find many cafés and restaurants nearby. We recommend those situated on the famous Place Du Tertre, 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. The hotel is housed in a very charming Parisian house. It gives the impression of being a private home. It is small in size, open-plan with a small sitting area. These public areas are recommended for individuals or for a small group. The decor is contemporary in style and welcoming. This 2-star hotel is considered a good tourist class property, very well situated in Paris. This location is suitable for tourism as well as for business trips. The hotel offers comfort in a peaceful atmosphere. (0807IU)
Area Information
The hotel is perched on the slopes of Montmartre, on a delightful chestnut tree square. It is also next to the “Bateau Lavoir” of Picasso and the Wallace Fountain, and 5 minutes’ walk from the Sacre Coeur Church. This very peaceful area offers all the advantages one would expect: picturesque and fine cafés and restaurants, nice walks in places looking like scenes from picture postcards. From the nearest metro station, Abbesses, one has quick access to the Opera, La Madeleine and La Concorde.
Customer Reviews for Timhotel Montmartre Paris
Our Customer stayed here in September 2008
Timhotel Montmartre is a great location for staying in Paris. It is situated only a few minutes from the metro so it is easy to get to everywhere. The square it is on is quiet so you should get a a good night's sleep, as the beds were also very comfortable. Only thing I would warn about is the lack of hairdryers in the rooms. You have to get one from reception but guests tend to keep the borrowed ones in their rooms so you could be unlucky and end up with none. I'd advise you to bring one with you just in case. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard cereal, bread, croissants and was pretty good. There is a patisserie/boulangerie across the road with lots of good cakes and bread. The area around the hotel has some very good restaurants and cafes so it is easy to find somewhere good to eat within a budget to suit you. There is also a lovely little art deco style cinema really close to the hotel which shows films in their original language so you may be able to see a film there in your own language (subtitled in French). This cinema (Studio 28) has a cafe also inside where you can go even if you don't want to watch a film.
