Trafford Hall Hotel Manchester
Hotel Description
The 35 rooms (including doubles, twins, singles and triples) all have en-suite facilities, remote control colour television, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press and hairdryer. A limited room service is available. All rooms are in good condition, a little dated, but very comfortable. A good traditional breakfast is served in the dining room which has recently been refurbished. The evening meals are more like good "pub grub" than a la carte. A very good selection of tasty meals are available from 5 -10 pm. An imposing Victorian building which was originally the Trafford Public Hall. It has been a hotel since the early 1980 and there is also a complimentary car park around the hotel. There is a small reception after entering through the main entrance. This is a good superior tourist class hotel offering excellent value for money. Great location with excellent local transport links to the city. (GW 11/2008)

I recently travelled over to see man utd at old trafford,I chose trafford hall for its proximity to the stadium and was not dissappointed.15/20 min walk. The metro/tram is less than 5 min walk from hotel. One problem we encountered was that we booked a triple room and were allocated a room with 2 single beds, after we pointed this out to reception we were given a room with 1 single bed and 1 double.the hotel is closer to a ** than a ***, very dated but adequate for the purpose intended,as in three guys looking for a place to lay your head after the match.Would go back again if i was going to OLD TRAFFORD,But would book a different hotel if accompanied by the wife.
