The Hotel is in an excellent location, between the central square and the train station (5 minutes away) where the bus stop for the airport is located. The design is carefully thought out, with a lot of silver and gold, making the hotel a litle different to most. The luxury of an Italian 4star hotel is all there - my single room was reasonably spacious, had a comfortable bed and a large bathroom (only a shower, but a good one). The breakfast, served in a vaulted space in the basement, typical of Bologna's older buildings, was excellent. I have only 2 criticisms : the room was too warm and I could not lower the temperature with the air conditioning provided, despite my attempts at switching it off (it was cold outside so my solution was to open the window). Internet access costs 10 euros for 24 hours. This is too much for a hotel of this type. This would not prevent me from returning, but I would check how to change room temperatures on checkin.
