Rooms are medium in size and in good condition, offering a traditional feel with modern amenities. All are decorated in warm yellow, brown and red colours, with tiled floors, making them feel fresh and spacious. There is a charming bar restaurant called Mother Reillys on the 1st floor, offering famous Irish hospitality by a traditional fireplace. The wooden floors and stone walls take one back to the 1880's, when the hotel was built! A 3-storey traditional building, with a raised entrance up a few steps. This traditional facade is pleasant on the eye and in keeping with the buildings of Rathmines. The reception area consists of 2 separate rooms, a large wooden reception desk and various comfortable sofas within the 2 rooms, for guests relaxation. Tea and coffee facilities are also available in the lobby area. This is a lively area of Dublin, with various shops and restaurants nearby. (06/07 BL)

The hotel room was up 2 flights of narrow stairs and was compact. I would stay there again but I would ask where room is. The hotel is very central, staff friendly and welcoming and car parking on grounds. We didn't have breakfast.

We stayed here because it was close to a concert venue. Will definetly book this hotel again, the staff were friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean throughout the whole place.
