Hotel Description
The bedrooms are fairly basic but of a good standard for a 3 star hotel with a station location. They are decorated in pastel colours and are medium in size. The hotel serves breakfast on the ground floor and has a lovely terrace in the back where, in the summer, breakfast may also be taken. There is also the restaurant “La Grand Ecluse” which is located in the former machinery room of the former Great Lock of the River ”Senne” and which is famous for serving group dinners and an a la carte lunch menu. The exterior is traditional and incorporates 3 houses. The lobby is quite small but leads to the bar which in turn leads to the restaurant and the terrace. This is a very good product with comfortable accommodation and a surprisingly welcoming terrace at the rear of the hotel.

Located close to the Gare Midi which is the terminal for the Eurostar and Thalys.

Our Customer stayed here in October 2011
I stayed two nights. The first morning there was no hot water in the shower. The second morning there was no water in the shower at all. Even aside from this issue, it was bad value.
