The hotel itself is fine and well located in the city, with easy access to everything for the sight seeing traveller. Room was very clean although not much spare space. The buffet breakfast was very good with a very pleasant outside terrace as well as an internal dining room. We had some problems finding the hotel (through very narrow streets) which was not helped by the fact that the last direction sign pointed to a street that was closed for repairs and we had to do a loop half way round the city on one way streets to get back to a recognisable starting point. A visit to the tourist office at least got us the alternative route and they checked with the hotel as to the location of the hotel garage, with the reassurance that hotel staff would take the (large) car we had and park it for us. The staff member on reception was not overly helpful although efficient enough. We did have problems getting the car out of the very tight underground car park, especially as the receptionist said there was no staff member to help ( a situation that changed 30mins later when we went back to say we just couldn't get the car out!)
Overall, the hotel was good with the only downside being the car park and the receptionist. The guy on reception in the evenings was much more helpful. Great central location, clean and comfortable. Maybe we just got the receptionist on a bad day!
