Great location and very good rate. Rooms were very spacious. Location was great and being a first time visit to Chicago this helped greatly as Michigan Avenue and shopping was just a few steps away, John Hancock Centre just across road so get full view of the city instead of going to Sears Tower. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel as it was a room rate only but there was a great Italian Deli across the road in the John Hancock Centre which was great and wonderful selection of food. Also across the road was the Cheesecake Factory so great for nighttime food also. Have been to the Cheescake Factory in San Francisco and also now in Vegas and Chicago is different atmosphere but same good food. Would visit Chicago again as had it all shopping, food, nightlife, friendly people and lovely city to get around and walk around. Take a trip towards the River Walk as great to just stroll along or stop at one of the many cafes and bars and enjoy the city's atmosphere.

This hotel is a really good hotel and is in a great location, on the Magnificent Mile. Great for restaurants and shops and within walking distance of Navy Pier and the Hancock Observatory. The Grill restaurant and bar downstairs in the hotel is a huge plus - great food and cocktails without having to go out if you are feeling lazy! The Chesscake Factory is also right beside the hotel; as is a great little coffe shop/deli which does the best muffins and a really great 'jumbo breakfast' for €5. The hotel itself is very busy, which means you often have to wait at check-in, but they are quite efficient. The rooms are lovley, really clean, well decked out and spacious. We could not fault the hotel room or its loctaion. On a negative, the door guy was really rude when we asked him questions about where to find particular places we were looking for...not what you expect in a hotel of this standard. There is a transfer service (which you have to pay for) from the hotel to O'Hare, evey half an hour, and on a busy traffic day, it's great, as it's fixed price. The conceirge is also great - very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
