This boutique lodge is set close to the fantastic temperate rainforest and the world famous Franz Josef Glacier. Only 10 rooms the property has a cosy and intimate feel. The communal lounge has a large open fire surrounded by comfy lounge seating. There is also a small house bar in the same room. There is no restaurant on site. Breakfast is served in the main lodge communal lounge and relaxation area.Rooms
The rooms are very nicely decorated and are about 35 square metres. The bathrooms have under floor heating and two of the suites have a large separate French bath. The remaining suites all have a large walk in shower. Rooms can be super king or twin single beds. All rooms are on ground floor level and there is a wheel chair accessible suite. Rooms have polished wood walls and there is a lounge sofa area in each room. There is direct access to covered patio seating.
