For a relaxing, luxury break this hotel offers a superb location for exploring Warwickshire. Walton Hall dates back to the 16th Century when the Mordaunt family built the Hall as their ancestral home. After undergoing a multi-million pound restoration, the Hall was re-established as a luxury Warwickshire country hotel retreat. Whilst the Hall was lovingly restored in a contemporary style, many traditional features were retained such as crystal chandeliers, antiques and open fireplaces. You can dine in the hotel's 2 AA Rosette restaurant or relax in the bar with a drink. To complete your luxury stay at Walton Hall, let us pamper you in the hotel's Beauty Rooms which offer a wide range of spa and beauty treatments, and are the perfect place to relax and unwind. The food came 5 minutes after ordering so was obviously cooked to order. The mushrooms in my sauce appeared to be tinned. The vegetables consisted of one carrot, one broccoli and cauliflower which were very under cooked. There was one piece of potato and some green beans. At £22 for two courses we felt short changed. We felt like we were on a conveyor belt to get everyone through quickly. The room was okay but there were no complementary biscuits, the glasses in the bathroom were plastic and there was no pen. It felt more like a budget hotel than a four star hotel. There were dirty plates in the corridors outside the rooms where people had room service which are not cleared way. Very disappointing experience. We don't get the chance to get away as a couple very often and the experience was a let down.
