We booked this hotel after reading some favourable reviews in the British press and we were not disappointed. Our twin room was clean & comfortable and of reasonable size. The design was modern and included a cleverly concealed tiny kitchenette with microwave, fridge & sink if you felt like eating-in. The TV was a large flat-screen mounted on the wall and included free internet access, although manipulation of the keyboard took a bit of practice. We had a good sized bathroom with a shower in the bath. This is where we encountered our only negative point - the shower water was very slow to drain so most of our showers were spent ankle deep in water!
Value for money was really hard to beat for London. The hotel has no resutaurant but there are so many eateries in Earls Court that this was not a problem for us.
The location was great too - on a quiet square which is a five minute walk away from Earls Court tube station. In the opposite direction a slightly longer walk takes you to Gloucester Road station.
We could not fault the reception staff/ cleaning staff either. All were friendly and eager to help with any of our queries. All in all we were extremely happy with our three nights in Base2Stay and will most definitely be back.
