The 184 bedrooms have bath and shower, radio, tv, hair dryer and are mostly medium in size with pale colours and light wood. The galleon restaurant specialises in seafood, but offers a variety of menus to suit all tastes. There is casual dining in the B Bar also . This is a modern 5 storey building with a large Car Park to the rear. The lobby is large and decorated in cream colours. It has occasional seating and a reception desk. The hotel is situated in the heart of Tralee, overlooking a lovely town Park which features the Siamsa Tire, Folk Theatre of Ireland and many memorials and statues.
Arrived at hotel, strong smell of damp and was like a ghost town. Rooms spacious but very dated. Cigarette burns in blanket, throws on bed could have done with a wash. Rooms were, however, very warm and breakfast was lovely.
We enjoyed our stay at the Brandon Hotel. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our room was small but fine and comfortable. Breakfasts were good. We ate in the Bar on our first night and it was very nice. Hotel is in a great location, a very short walk into the town centre and onsite parking is a bonus. We would definitely stay at the Brandon again.

We have stayed here a few times before and found the hotel and staff excellant. This time was no exception. It is obviously a slack ntime of year for hotels and the recession. Some parts of the hotel are in need of repair etc but otherwise very clean and in good repair. An excellant location ejacent to town and country. We wll be back !
