It is a very lovely hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. The bar food was very nice with a good choice and the surroundings were comfortable. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Overall our stay was most enjoyable and we would book this hotel again.
Very nice but there is a definite change in the atmosphere from when it was the Carlton ie very few kids and no kids club. I was there same time last year and the kids club was great. Part of the reason we went to the hotel again was because we could gain access to the Aquadome. I contacted the hotel to ask if there was complimentary access to the Aquadome and I was told yes there is. What I wasn't told until I checked in was that there is just one pass per visit (totally understandable due to cost etc but I would have appreciated being made aware of that change in policy)
