Located right in the middle of Donegal Town, this long established hotel is a gem. The public rooms are all decorated to a high standard, with a popular carvery lunch served in the Just William, and an all day menu in the atmospheric Upper Deck bar, where European dishes are joined by authentic Thai specialities. The first floor mezzanine is where afternoon tea is served, while looking down on the bustling town centre. Bedrooms vary in style and have benefited from recent refurbishment. Many have views over Donegal Bay, as does the contemporary Banqueting suite, where occasional concerts are held.
All the rooms have been recently refurbished and are in very good condition. They are traditionally furnished and comfortable. The Ard Eske Room restaurant serves a la carte and table d'hote menus, whilst the less formal Just William's offers a carvery. The hotel has a fairly modern facade. The lobby is small and traditional. In the very centre of Donegal town, the hotel boasts a superb leisure complex, including gym, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and sunbeds.
Note: We update hotel photos, maps and descriptions on a regular basis – it is the responsibility of the hotel to ensure that these are accurate !
As the name would suggest the hotel is situated in the heart of Donegal town.
